Privacy Policy
Last updated May 3, 2026. This summary explains what data Mitrid collects, why, and how to control it. We aim for plain language; the legal version follows.
What we collect
- Account data — name, email, company, role.
- Workspace data — content you put into Mitrid (employees, contacts, tickets, documents, contracts). You own this; we process it on your behalf.
- Usage data — anonymized product analytics (pages viewed, features used) used to improve the product.
- Cookies — only essential cookies for sign-in. We do not use third-party advertising trackers.
How we use it
- To run the service you signed up for.
- To send essential service emails (security, billing, downtime).
- To diagnose and fix bugs.
- We do not sell your data. Ever.
Where data lives
Workspace data is stored on encrypted volumes in AWS (us-east-1 by default; EU region available on request). Backups run nightly. We follow industry-standard security practices and plan to pursue formal certification as we exit beta.
Sub-processors
We use AWS (hosting), Stripe (billing, when paid plans launch), Postmark (transactional email), and Sentry (error tracking). A current list is maintained in the in-product trust center.
Your rights
You may export, correct, or delete your data at any time from Settings → Data, or by emailing privacy@mitrid.com. Under GDPR you may also lodge a complaint with your local DPA.
